Gilla Evans

I am a writer and translator from Portuguese, Spanish and French, specialising in art, architecture and art history, with over 50 non-fiction titles published. I have worked with many museums, from the Guggenheim to the Louvre and translated several publications for the IPPAR architectural cultural heritage organisation of Portugal. Other major projects I have been involved with as a Portuguese translator include the Islamic Art website created by Museum With No Frontiers. Poetry I have translated has been published in the Epiphany literary journal, and my own writing has appeared in the Rialto, Writing Women, Plume, Mslexia and the Atlanta Review.
