Lara Norgaard is a literary translator and researcher from Colorado. Her translations of Brazilian fiction have appeared in publications such as Asymptote Journal and Cuíer: Queer Brazil (Two Lines Press, 2023), and her translation of the novel They Marched Under the Sun by contemporary Brazilian author Cris Judar is forthcoming with Fonograf Editions in Spring 2026. Lara also translates Indonesian fiction, and she is currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at Harvard University, where she researches the politics and aesthetics of literary translation networks spanning the Global South.
