Tomás Gonçalves Grieser
Tomás is a Brazilian translator and interpreter based in Dublin, Ireland. Originally from Fortaleza, Ceará, he was a German language teacher and a Portuguese-German interpreter for social services in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany. He holds an B.A. in Multilingual Communication from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Technische Hochschule Köln), having focused on the translation and interpretation from and into English, French, and German. Tomás studied languages, linguistics, and translation across multiple countries (Universidade Federal do Ceará, Brazil, Universität zu Köln, Germany, and Aix-Marseille Université, France) and is joining the editorial market after having graduated. His special interests are Cearense literature, with a focus on regional dialects, experimental literature, contemporary fiction, and humour.
